Beneficiary Dinnapur Village, Aurangabad district

Dinnapur is a small village located in the Aurangabad district and it is deprived of basic facilities. My elder brother, Nandkumar Patil, who works at Cybage also hails from the same village. Our journey with CybageAsha started when he suggested the name of Dinnapur village by filling the CybageAsha Trust online form. CybageAsha visited our village in March 2016. The senior officials who inspected our village suggested the desilting of the river in order to increase the depth of the river bed. The trust paid for seventy percent of the modifications while the rest was managed by the villagers. The villagers realized the importance of this project as it would improve the drought situation significantly. We also received valuable support from Dr. Kiran Ekhande, a resident of Aurangabad. Recently, the inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of CybageAsha team and all the residents of Dinnapur were very pleased with the trust’s noble initiative. We would like to thank them with all our hearts.

With the rapid increase in urban development, the employment opportunities in villages are depreciating dangerously. The agricultural activities are getting affected because of various factors like climate change, govt. policies etc. The educational scenario is also quite weak in rural areas. A vast majority of the rural population are migrating to the urban areas to create a sustainable livelihood. Amidst all this, the help provided by CybageAsha to the rural population is commendable. The continuous attempts to help villagers are definitely paying off and we are sure that this will surely help the villagers to be self-sufficient.

CybaseAsha is continuously striving towards developing an economically and socially backward component of the society. The development of this mass component of the society certainly contributes towards the progress of our country. CybageAsha has been helping us uplift our village since the past year. The development of the village is not only the responsibility of the elected Gram Panchayat members, but it is also the responsibility of every citizen of the village. CybageAsha instilled the feeling of improvement in the minds of the villagers. So far, two major projects have been conducted by CybageAsha for the upliftment of our village. They helped us build a better drainage line which greatly improved the flow of water in our village. Also, CybageAsha installed projectors at our local school to promote basic education and learning. CybageAsha also conducted a ‘Career Guidance’ session which motivated the younger generation of the village to think about their career goals and future. We want to thank the entire team of CybageAsha who have helped us build a better version of ourselves. We truly believe your support will always be with us.

Cochlea Pune

“Cochlea Pune is overwhelmed by CybageAsha’s support for its rural initiatives. The support has enabled us to add Manchar village of Ambegaon taluka under our umbrella. CybageAsha has also helped us with a school van, hearing aids, and school uniforms for children. This gesture has provided children from rural areas such as Khed taluka and Dapoli access to formal education. We look forward to their continual support in the long run.”
