Christmas is a festival of love and giving. Spending time with the family, shopping for friends and relatives, and the very popular Christmas tree decorations are all part of this celebration. Children love to receive gifts and toys from Santa Claus, and this is made possible by their parents. But what about those kids who do not have parents? CybageAsha knows and cares. Keeping its annual tradition alive, CybageAsha organized a Christmas Celebration and Wish Tree Drive at Dnyandeep Balgruha and Samyak Matruchaya Ashram, Dighi on 26th and 27th December 2020 respectively.
28 volunteers went to these orphanages with the motive of spreading joy among the children of their adopted orphanage. The beauty of any festival is in the sharing and giving—this indeed is happiness. The volunteers wanted to make this Christmas memorable for the children. They decorated the organization with the help of the children, and the result was a beautifully decorated home.
The volunteers engaged the children in games. There was also a funny puppet show to entertain everybody. The kids danced happily, and then, together they all had a delicious meal. There was sumptuous and lip-smacking vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
Cybagians fulfilled the wish of every child thus bringing smiles on their innocent faces. This event was successful as it was quality time spent celebrating together with those who do not have the means or the resources to celebrate.
