A good old age home is a boon for senior citizens who don’t have anyone to look after them. Sevadham Vruddhashram is one among some of the very good old age homes around. It is located in the Sinhagad area of Pune. The caretakers take proper care of the residents.

CybageAsha volunteers periodically keep visiting several old age homes and orphanages. This time also, four Cybage volunteers visited Sevadham Vruddhashram. The purpose of the visit was to interact and spend quality time with the senior residents of the old age home. 

During the visit, the volunteers played interesting games and enjoyed snacks with the senior residents. Volunteers also sang some melodious songs and enjoyed Antakshari with the residents. This was indeed a touching experience for the volunteers. The trustee and founder of Sevadham Vruddhashram, Dr. Pratibhatai Paigude talked about the successful journey of the old age home from the day it was founded till date. At the end of the activity, the volunteers handed over seasonal fruits to all the residents. The senior residents were happy to interact and meet the volunteers.
