Heavy rainfall and flooding brought life to a halt in Hyderabad in October 2020.  The calamity caused water to rise to dangerous levels 15 people in this city. The Disaster Response Force (DRF) team had to evacuate many families from the flood-hit vicinities.

On 29 Oct. 2020, the CybageAsha team, Hyderabad organized a grocery kits distribution drive at Allam Thota Bavi, Begumpet, Hyderabad, one of the flood-affected areas. The 50 grocery kits included rice, oil, salt, sugar, and other essentials and were distributed by a CSR executive and a volunteer. The intention of organizing this drive was to reach out to those people who were unable to get grocery items. The grocery kits distribution drive will certainly help those in need. A CSR representative and a Cybage volunteer were present and helped to make this drive successful.

The beneficiaries were very happy and thanked CybageAsha for this initiative. Keeping its tradition alive, CybageAsha, till date, has organized several grain donation drives in Pune, Gandhinagar, and Hyderabad.
