In these difficult times of the pandemic, people have been facing a whole lot of financial problems. Some sections of society are finding this an even bigger challenge as it has affected their buying power immensely. Keeping all this in mind and staying true to its motto of helping the needy in society, CybageAsha conducted a Grocery Kits Distribution event on July 11, 2020. This event was held for the residents of Nirmal Seva Mahila Vrudhashram. A few months ago, we had provided the old age home with 3 months stock of groceries; this donation was with a view to providing further sustenance.

Cybage ECM team collected essential groceries, sanitizers, and masks. This amounted to 120 kgs of groceries, 200 masks, and more than 50 sanitizer bottles. Out of this our volunteers, with help of the ECM team, donated 60 kgs of grains to Niramal Seva Mahila Vridhashram, Handewadi, Pune on July 4, 2020. The rest of the essentials were donated to SOFOSH Pune. SOFOSH is a childcare institute, which provides shelter, care, educational and medical aid to children who do not have a family.
