CybageAsha’s aim has always been working for the upliftment of the underprivileged sections of our society. Today, the whole country is going through a distressing phase due to the ‘COVID-19 pandemic’ Many have lost their source of income and need help to make their daily ends meet.

Taking a step forward in helping the needy, CybageAsha-Hyderabad organized a grocery kit distribution event at the Friends Foundation which houses and takes care of orphans. There are 52 children residing at this orphanage. The grocery kits curated by CybageAsha contain supplies that should last them for a month. The event took place on July 4, 2020. During the distribution, the CybageAsha representatives made sure they were strictly adhering to all the rules of safety set by the government.

In addition to grocery kits distribution, the representatives also made the children aware of the concept of social distancing, wearing masks and washing hands on a regular basis. The representatives conducted interactive games and encouraged the children to prepare for higher education. All the beneficiaries expressed their happiness at receiving the grocery kits since it is difficult for them to meet their daily needs.
