Holi, the festival of colors, is one of the most awaited festivals in India, which is celebrated with a lot of joy and vigor.  Using this festival as a symbol of hope & happiness, CybageAsha organized a special program, ‘Asha Ki Holi’ at Dnyandeep Balak Ashram on March 10, 2020. The organization takes care of foster children, and we realized that it was a time that these little ones experience the colors that they deserve in their lives. The day started with a finger-painting session where the children got a chance to express their creativity through watercolors. This was a fun session as the children made full use of their imagination and created wonderful masterpieces of art. 

Twenty-one volunteers accompanied by 4 family members were a part of this colorful event. The volunteers and kids also danced on some catchy Holi songs. The traditional mithai of Holi, ‘Gujiya’ was distributed among the children towards the end of the event.

The volunteers had a gala time with the kids and also clicked pictures with them capturing the colorful memories of the day to cherish forever.
