CybageAsha, through its various initiatives, has always put its foot forward to contribute towards a better environment. This time around, a tree plantation drive was organized in collaboration with Vasundhra Abhiyan, Baner. 54 volunteers and their 12 family members participated in the event and planted around 60 saplings at Tukai Tekadi, Baner Hill, Pune. Children and siblings of volunteers also participated in large numbers making it an engaging and fun event. All the volunteers enjoyed a lot with children and their never-ending enthusiasm, energy and beautiful smiles.

For the saplings planted, CybageAsha ensures the survival by watering, providing fertilizers and taking proper care.  Lalkar Chhadawelkar, Technical Evangelist – Quality, enthusiastically contributed towards this cause.

Vasundhra Abhiyan, an NGO, has been planting trees since 2006 and so far, they have planted 23000 saplings on Tukai Tekadi. The survival rate of the saplings is 95%. They also undertake various other initiatives such as blood donation camps, help to other NGOs, drawing competitions among others.
