Women at Pingori acquire new skills

CybageAsha in association with Kasturba Mahila Khadi Gramodyog Vidyalay conducted a tomato ketchup and sauce making training for women residents of Pingori village, Purandar taluka from April 6 to 10, 2018. The training was attended by 28 people (both men and women).

The five-day training included the processes of making tomato ketchup and sauce, packaging, and marketing strategies to develop it into a business. CybageAsha started this initiative to motivate women and men for value addition in their agriculture produce and to get minimum support price for tomatoes.

At the closing ceremony, Ritu Nathani, managing trustee of CybageAsha, felicitated all the beneficiaries and distributed certificates of successful completion of the training. Ritu Nathani addressed the beneficiaries by saying, “CybageAsha has given you the platform, and by successfully completing the training, you can reap the benefits from your learnings. Collectively, you all need to take the efforts to overcome your financial situation.”
