Ritu Nathani, Trustee–Cybage CSR, was present for the handover of de-silting work done by CybageAsha with the help of residents at Mavadi Supe Pathar village in Purandar taluka on November 16, 2017.
Ritu inspected all the sites where the de-silting work was carried out to assess the impact of the work done. She performed jalpoojan and interacted with the villagers on the issue of water conservation and on how to make the drought-prone village an ideal one in the taluka.
CybageAsha has been working in this adopted village, which falls in the rain shadow region, for the past four years. Due to the de-silting work, the wells and borewells are full and agriculture is flourishing.
CybageAsha de-silted around 3 kilometres of the area with the help of villagers in terms of financial contribution and ‘shram daan’ or physical efforts. The villagers expressed their gratitude towards CybageAsha for selecting Mavadi Supe for development.
