Getting clean drinking water is the right of every individual. But unfortunately, many people don't get it. In line with its social upliftment activities, CybageAsha on 14th May 2020 completed the construction of 40 thousand litres drinking water tank at Bare Budruk village of Bhor Taluka, Pune. The village is among the many CybageAsha adopted villages and has over 200 households.
Bare Budruk is moving towards becoming a model village. In the last three years, the trust has constructed 790 metres of underground drainage lines. This has helped in reducing diseases such as malaria and dengue. CybageAsha has also constructed 200 metres of internal road that has helped villagers to commute easily, especially in the monsoon season. The construction of the road has significantly lowered the incidents of road accidents in the area. Apart from infrastructural activities, CybageAsha in association with BAIF has been working in this village for the last two and a half years on agricultural intervention, livestock and watershed development.
