Good governance helps meet the needs of society while making the best use of the available resources. CybageAsha in association with Post Office, Wada, Pune District organized a Good Governance Drive at Moroshi village of the Khed block.

The Aadhar card is a very important document necessary for availing government and bank-related schemes. However, most of the Aadhar Cards are not updated or are not linked to a mobile number, especially in rural areas. Unfortunately, most of the villagers are not aware of its importance.

A large number of people from the various villages of the Moroshi cluster took part in this drive. Mr. Pramod Bogade, SDIP, Indian Postal Department was present at the event. He interacted with the villagers and informed them about various schemes initiated by the Postal Department. A total of 76 people had enrolled. Twenty-three opened postal savings accounts, 7 secured their daughters’ future by opening Sukanya Samriddhi accounts, and 10 had their Aadhar cards updated.

CybageAsha aims to conduct such drives in the near future to provide various schemes and services to the villagers.
