
CybageAsha is always making active efforts to better the lives of the underprivileged in its adopted communities. On International Women’s Day, 8 March, CybageAsha organized a free health checkup camp for problems of general health, gynecology, and ENT at Bare Khurd in Bhor taluka. Such programs aim at spreading health awareness and providing quality healthcare to the residents, specially to those who do not have the financial means.
This initiative was held in collaboration with the medical team from Tarachand Hospital, Pune, Cybage volunteers, and a team from Jankalyan Blood Bank. A team of doctors screened and evaluated 109 residents of the community for various health problems including gynecological issues. Seventy-five blood samples were collected and sent for tests such as hemogram, BSL, and blood group to the Jankalyan Blood Bank.
This initiative saw the participation of six doctors from Tarachand hospital, two technicians from Jankalyan Blood Bank, Cybage volunteers and the village representatives. Their whole-hearted efforts made this camp successful. There was excellent coordination among all.
