CybageAsha, in yet another initiative of development in its adopted villages, constructed roads and an underground drainage line in the Bare Budruk village of Bhor taluka, Pune. Cybage Director and CSR Head, Ritu Nathani inaugurated and handed over the development projects to the villagers.
The newly constructed 200 meters of internal road has helped people commute without difficulty and safely, especially in the rainy season. This has reduced the number of accidents.
Open drains, often the main cause of water-borne diseases and infections, have now been replaced by a new underground drainage line; thus, reducing the cause of various diseases. CybageAsha contributed ₹9,78,129 to construct 200 meters of internal roads and 790 meters of underground drainage system.
For the last two and half years, CybageAsha, in association with BAIF organization, has been spreading awareness about farming and the various techniques involved in cultivation. Once restricted to rice farming, the farmers are now actively involved in growing vegetables, in floriculture and horticulture. This has helped the villagers get more income and has also reduced their migration to cities in search of a better life.
