CybageAsha is always making active efforts to improve the lives of the underprivileged sections of society. Pune Police requested CybageAsha to donate six handsfree handwash units to the communities where Covid-19 cases are growing rapidly. On 8th May 2020, CybageAsha successfully installed a handsfree handwash unit in the Uttam Nagar slum community of Pune district.
The foot pedal operated handwash unit is easy and safe to use. It dispenses liquid soap by pressing one pedal and water by pressing the other one. In this way, it doesn’t involve hand and so it ensures the hygiene of the individuals and prevents the spread of infection.
After the distribution of high-quality reusable cloth masks in the red zone communities, CybageAsha has come up with yet another public-private partnership model of a public health intervention. CybageAsha collaborated with Pune Police, Pune Municipal Corporation and Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran to complete this activity.
